Danny Albert Garrett

Mr. Danny Albert Garrett, age 65, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2011 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.

A memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 am Thursday, April 28, 2011 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel. The Reverend Phillip Partin will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 pm Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at the funeral home.

Mr. Garrett was a lifelong resident of Hall County and was the son of the late Noah Garrett and Lurie Mae (Loggins) Garrett. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mildred Cox.

He is survived by his wife, Fannie (Thomas) Garrett, Gainesville; daughters and sons-in-law, Kirstie and Jimmy Hampton, Gainesville; Amanda and Steven Gilleland, Lumpkin County; sons and daughters-in-law, Brian and Georgette Garrett, Gainesville; and Brandon and Camille Garrett, Murrayville; son Barry Garrett, Gainesville; brother, Bill Garrett, Kennesaw; 14 grandchildren, Danny, Heather, Adam, Amber, Kassie, Collin, Benjamin, Mia, Ronnie, Samantha, Anna, Camren, Bradley and Dallas.
