William Calvin Carroll

Mr. William Calvin Carroll age 89 of Cleveland passed away Sunday April 24, 2011 at his residence following an extended illness.

Mr. Carroll was born in Atlanta Georgia the son of the late Paul T. and Nellie Bush Carroll. He was preceded in death by a son, William C. Carroll Jr. and sisters, Nellie and Helen. Mr. Carroll was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in World War 11. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Clarkesville.

Survivors include his wife, Jean A. Carroll, Cleveland; son, Timothy P. Carroll, Half Moon, CA; grandchildren, Clay Carroll, Brad Carroll, both of Lexington, KY, Julian Carroll, Brenna Carroll, Sean Carroll, all of Half Moon, CA; great grandchild, Hannah Carroll, Cumming; brother, Paul Carroll, Cumming; sister, Catherine Saunders, Atlanta.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday April 27, 2011 at Yonah View Memorial Gardens. Dr. Bill Cashion and the Rev. Tommy Stowe will officiate.

The family will receive friends 12-1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
