Roy W. Poole

Roy W. Poole passed away at his residence Saturday April 23,2011 of an extended illness.

He was the son of the late Wylie and Ruth Ayers Poole and was preceded in death by his wife Betty Faye Crocker Poole. Mr. Poole retired from Atlanta Linen Service.

Survivors include 4 sons Michael Poole of Lula, Wayne Poole, Perry Poole and Terry Poole all of Carnesville and a daughter Cynthia Webb of Carnesville. He is also survived by 2 sisters Jean Kay and Avis Lewallen both of Carnesville. 7 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren also survive.

Funeral Services will be Monday April 25, 2011 at 3 PM from the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Rev.Swayne Carlan, Rev. Scott Smith and Rev. Bill Calhoun officiating with burial in the Nails Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the funeral home Sunday April 24 from 2 to 9 PM.
