Hattie Juanita Hopper

Funeral services for Hattie Juanita Hopper, age 90, of Clarkesville will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Hills Crossing Baptist Church. Rev. Walter Singletary will officiate with interment to follow the service in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Hopper passed away Thursday, April 21, 2011 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born June 16, 1920 in Rabun County, Georgia, Mrs. Hopper was the daughter of the late Isaac B. and Mary McDowell Justus. She was a homemaker and a member of Hills Crossing Baptist Church.. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hopper is preceded in death by husband Bill Hopper, sons Jack and Robert Hopper, sister Ibbie Bradley, and brother T. C. Justus.

Survivors include daughters Dianne Hopper of Clarkesville, Susie Hopper of Atlanta, Dr. Margaret Hopper Wells of Atlanta, son J. M. Rogers of Clayton, sisters Savannah Welborn and Allene Church of Clayton, Fannie Stephens of Florida, Virginia Ivester of Mt. Airy, brothers James Justus of Clayton, Curtis Justus of Flowery Branch, grandchildren Karen Brabson, Isaac Rogers, Amy Smith, and Howard Hopper and great grandchildren Josie and Hayden Brabson.

The family will receive friends at Hillside Memorial Chapel, 5495 State Highway 197 South, Clarkesville, on Friday, April 22, 2011 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM
