Walter Stetson Gifford

Walter Stetson Gifford, age 54, of Cumming, lost his 3 year battle with cancer on April 20, 2011. He was born in Canonsburg, PA, July 28, 1956 to the late Rev. Charles A. Gifford, and Alma Canning Gifford. He graduated from Cannon McMillian HS in 1974 and served 4 years in the United States Navy. He was stationed in Yokosuka Japan and Jacksonville, Florida. He attended Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics, West Mifflin, PA from 1983 -1985. He was a sales engineer for the past 4 years for Cooper Power Systems, Suwanee, GA. He also worked for Cooper Power Systems in Canonsburg, PA from 1979
