Marylene Luther

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mrs. Marylene Luther, 76, of Cleveland.

Mrs. Luther passed away Monday, April 18, 2011, following a period of declining health.

Born in Polk County, Texas, on May 24, 1934, she was the daughter of Fred Oliver Cox and Gladys Taylor Cox. She moved to White County from Livingston, Texas, in 2003. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Floyd Wayne Luther of Cleveland; son, James Edward Luther; daughters, Janice Barrett of Sandy Springs, Joyce Barrett Jones of Grangerland, Texas and Joanie Christian of Livingston, Texas; brother, Anson Cox of Livingston, Texas; sisters, Dorothy Smith of Port Neches, Texas and Edith Mae Steagall of Livingston, Texas; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
