Walton Robert Green, Jr.

Walton Robert Green, Jr., age 76, of Cumming, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2011. He was a lifelong resident of the area and attended Hopewell Baptist Church. Walton is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Wheeler Green; son, Walton Rickey Green; parents, Walton Robert Green Sr. and Mary Green; granddaughter, Golden Danielle Green; brothers, Gene Green and Eddie Joe Green.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Marzia and Ronald Curtis of Canton; step son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Sheila Wheeler; step daughter, Joan Anglin; brother and sister-in-law, Loy and Gwenn Green of Milton, Lamar and Glenda Green of Cumming; sister and brother-in-law, Ferral and Earl Hines of Mableton; grandchildren, Blake Curtis, Chase Curtis, Katie Green Wilson of Canton; great grandchildren, Ashley Crims, Katelynn Wilson; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at the chapel in Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Clyde Boling and Rev. Johnny Purcell officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until hour of service at the funeral home.
