Joyce Barrett Aikens

Mrs. Joyce Barrett Aikens, age 66, of Nicholson, GA died Sunday, April 17, 2011 at her residence. Mrs. Aikens was born in Jackson County to the late Grady and Lola Robinson Barrett. She was retired from Wayne Poultry. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Aikens was preceded in death by her husband, James Aikens.

Mrs. Aikens is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Ricky Alexander of Nicholson; brothers, Junior Barrett of Colbert, Billy Barrett of Gillsville, and J.C. Barrett of Commerce; sisters, Juanita Dalton of Colbert, Jerri Williamson of Maysville, and Bonnie Huth of Hull; grandchildren, Jennifer Maxwell, Jessica Woodall, and C.J. Woodall.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Tuesday, April 19 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce with the Rev. Kelby Maxwell officiating. Interment will follow in Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 10 to 2 PM.
