Charles Eugene "Charlie Brown" Foster

Charles Eugene "Charlie Brown" Foster, age 54, of Cornelia, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2011, at the residence following an extended illness.

Mr. Foster was born on December 22, 1956, in Habersham County, Georgia. He was the son of the late Mark Nelson and Jennie Estelle Parker Foster. Mr. Foster was also preceded in death by sons, Scott Foster and Adam Foster; brother, Donald Foster; and sister, Dianne Heaton. He was a retired carpenter and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his sisters, Judy Gunn, Cornelia, GA, Linda Porterfield, Cornelia, GA, and Betty Jackson, Toccoa, GA; brothers, Nickey Foster, Cornelia, GA and Nelson Foster, Baldwin, GA; two grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.



Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2011, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia, with Rev. James Franklin officiating.


The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until the funeral hour on Saturday, April 16, 2011, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia.
