Lamar Beatty

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Lamar Beatty, 70 of Pendergrass, Ga. who passed away Tuesday April 12, 2011 after an extended illness. He was born March 27, 1941 to the late Edward Guy Beatty and Mrs. Edith Louise Beatty. Mr. Beatty served in the United States Army. Mr. Beatty retired from Cottrell Transport Equipment Company as a Truck Driver with more than 20 years of service.

Survivors include his mother Mrs. Edith Louise Beatty of Pendergrass, Ga. son David (Lisa) Beatty of Pendergrass, Ga. ex wife, Owida Beatty of Pendergrass, Ga. 5 step Children, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and a number of other relatives.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
