Maresa Graves Bowen

Maresa Graves Bowen, 46, of Canton, GA died on April 9, 2011. Born in Atlanta, she was the daughter of Freddie and Barbara Graves of Cumming, GA.

A graduate of Forsyth County High School, Maresa earned her BA in Psychology and minor in Spanish at West Georgia College. She was a member of Phi Sigma Iota and Pi Gamma Mu. Maresa was member of First Redeemer Church, and was employed by Graves Fireplaces, Inc.

In addition to her parents, Maresa is survived by her husband, Jeffrey S. Bowen of Canton, GA; brother, Lee (Yvette) Graves of Cumming, GA; mother-in-law, Judith (Charley) Barber of Canton, GA; father-in-law, Charles Bowen of Smyrna, GA; brother-in-law, James (Linda) Bowen of Cumming, GA; nephews, Samuel Lee Graves and Luke Anthony Graves of Cumming, GA and Tyler Bowen of Jasper, GA; nieces, Anna Olivia Graves of Cumming, GA and Julie Bowen of Jasper, GA; a large extended family and many special friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 15, 2011 in the McDonald and Son Chapel. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00
