Richard Talmadge Wade

Richard Talmadge Wade, age 74 of Demorest, GA, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2011, at his residence, following an extended illness.
Born April 12, 1936, he was the son of the late Margie Crenshaw Wade and Cleveland Wade. Mr. Wade was a member of Bethesda Fellowship Congregational Holiness Church. He was retired as a supervisor with Fieldale Farms. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by sister, Grace Lynch Plott; brothers, Roosevelt Wade, Paul Wade, Grady Wade and Dewey Wade.
Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Viola Maxwell Wade of Demorest; daughters, Jennifer Seymore (Douglas) of Cleveland, Yvonne Gibby (Michael) of Cleveland, Teresa Irvin of Alto, Lynn Stewart (Joel) of Cornelia; sisters, Sophronia Pettite of Cleveland, Charlotte Freeman (Jack) of Demorest, Joyce Turner (Bobby) of Demorest; brother, Buford Wade (Rita) of Cleveland; 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at Bethesda Fellowship Congregational Holiness Church with Rev. John Graham and Rev. Clarence Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow in the Return Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-9 pm Monday and 2-4 & 7-9 pm on Tuesday.
