LeNoir H. "Lee" Davis

LeNoir H. "Lee" Davis, age 95, of Cumming, formerly of Atlanta. She was born August 13, 1915 in Macon, MS; one of 4 children. She died Sunday, April 3, 2011.

LeNoir was a member of Atlanta First United Methodist Church for over 40 years, where she was involved in many activities and trips. She was the consummate Southern Lady and enjoyed dressing up and going to plays at the Fox with her church friends.

Lenoir lived in Peachtree Park in Buckhead for 30 years. It was there that the neighbors gave her the title "GoGo Mama." She was a bridal consultant at the downtown Rich's and later was a secretary at St. Joseph's Hospital in the Purchasing Department.

She is survived by her son, Cecil Wayne Young and his wife, Carole Ann; her niece, Patsy Ketchum and her husband, Col. James Ketchum of Melbourne, FL and also their sons, Bob and Jimmy and their children.

A celebration of LeNoir's life will be held Saturday, April 9, at 2:00 p.m. at the Sawnee View Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel.
