Mr. L.C. "Zeke" Farr, age 76, passed away at his residence after a short illness on Monday April 4th, 2011. He was born April 4th, 1935 in Hall County, Georgia to the late Charles Luther Farr and Pearl Wofford Farr.
Mr. Farr is survived by his wife of 58 years Faye Farr of Gainesville, GA, his sons and daughters-in-law Frankie and Rita Farr of Gainesville, GA, Johnny and Mary Kay Farr of Braselton, GA, and Chris and Doris Farr of Gainesville, GA, his daughters and sons-in-law Lynn and Scott Lilly of Pendergrass, GA, Jan and Andy Andrews of Gainesville, GA, his sister Janice Thompson of Gainesville, GA, his eight grandchildren Joel Farr, Marsha Womble, Rowdy Presley, Brandi Hyatt, Josh Hyatt, Wesley Farr, Madalyn Lilly and Andrew Lilly, his seven great grandchildren and his special friend Wayne Wofford of Jacksonville, FL.
Mr. Farr was an auto technician and a member of Community Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, and friend. The family would like to offer a special thanks to his hospice nurse Whitney Shumake.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, April 6th at Ward's Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, April 7th at Ward's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Charles Barrett and Rev. Calvin Gooch will officiate. Interment will follow in Hillside Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, April 6th at the funeral home.
