Cody Scott Valentine

Cody Scott Valentine, age 21, of Ball Ground, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2011. He was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church of Alpharetta. Cody is preceded in death by his grandparents, Sarah and H.L. (Corky) Valentine and Wayne Scott and Georgene Baty.

Survivors include his parents, Dennis Valentine and Beverly Mason of Canton, Buster and Fawn Baty of Ball Ground; grandmother, Mytrice Scott of Jasper; grandfather, Herbert Baty of Alpharetta; brother and sister, Colton and Breanna Baty; aunts and uncles, Valerie Sullivan, Tim Valentine, Harold Valentine, Greg and Necole Baty, Kenny and Debbie Baty; other loving family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at Hopewell Baptist Church with Rev. Alan Sutton, Rev. Bud Sutton, Rev. Lee Gaddis officiating. Interment will follow at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery, Alpharetta, Ga. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until hour of service.
