Funeral services for Samuel Claud Pool, age 88 of Clermont, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday April 2,2011 in Strickland Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Concord Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday April 1,2011 at the funeral home The Rev. Alan Morris will officiate.Mr. Pool was a native of Grandville Texas, he had served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of Concord Baptist Church. Mr. Pool died Wednesday March 30,2011.
