Carol Ethridge Crowell

Mrs. Carol Ethridge Crowell, age 67, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at her residence following a short illness.

A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 am Friday, April 1, 2011 in the Chapel of the First Baptist Church on Green Street, Gainesville. Dr. Bill Coates will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.

Carol was born in Atlanta and was the daughter of the late W. D. Ethridge and Jeanette (Joiner) Ethridge. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, David Ethridge.

Carol is survived by her loving husband, William Crowell; daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Jason Deal, all of Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Wendy Fallin, Marriottsville, MD; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Mark Mitchell, Matthews, NC; eight grandchildren, Ariel Mitchell, Alexis Mitchell, Preston Fallin, Tristan Fallin, Fallon Deal, Noah Deal, Ansley Mitchell and Dawson Deal; brother and sister-in-law, William and Sheila Ethridge of Lithonia, GA; and a host of other family and friends also survive.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center 2150 Limestone Parkway Gainesville, GA 30501, or The Ministry of Caring at First Baptist Church 751 Green Street Gainesville, GA 30501.
