Thomas Junior Morris

Mr. Thomas Junior Morris, age 90 of Commerce died Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at BJC Nursing Home. Mr. Morris was born in Banks County to the late, Thomas Christopher and Mary Eugene Scales Morris. Mr. Morris was a member of Apple Valley Baptist Church, was a spinning room textile worker, and a WW II US Army Veteran. In addition to his parents, Mr. Morris was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Thomas Morris.
Mr. Morris is survived by his sons, Thomas Jerry Morris and William Dan Morris both of Commerce, GA; four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Thursday 2:00 PM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Henry Webb officiating with the interment following at Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday night from 5-7 PM.
