Martha (Marthie) Pruitt

Martha (Marthie) Pruitt, age 91, of Cumming, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2011. Marthie worked as a nurse's aide for over 30 years at Cumming Convalescence Home and was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt Pruitt and son, Donald Pruitt.

Survivors include her five grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Frances Pruitt of Cumming; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2011, at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Coffey officiating. Interment will follow at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
