Charles Edward "Pappy" Collins

Mr. Charles Edward "Pappy" Collins, age 96 of Commerce, GA died Saturday, March 26, 2011 at BJC Medical Center. Mr. Collins was born in Hall County to the late, George and Clementine Collins. Mr. Collins was a retired service station owner, member of the Madison Street Baptist Church, and a WW II Army Veteran. In addition to his parents, Mr. Collins is preceded in death by his wife; Faye Tucker Collins, son; Jimmy Collins, and daughter; Charla Collins.
Mr. Collins is survived by six grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Monday 11:00 AM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. David Harbin and Rev. Jim Waller officiating with the interment following in Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday night from 5-8 PM.
