Joy The Clown passed away on Tuesday, March 22nd 2011. Originally from Wichita, KS, Joy was a long-time resident of Gainesville, GA.
A traveling professional clown, Joy brought smiles and laughter to kids and adults alike around the world. His passion for life can be summed up in one phrase - live, laugh, love and he endeavored to do all three every day of his life.
He is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Tiffany and Ramon deBruyn, New York, New York; daughters, Carrie Schermuly, AZ, Mary Ann Tovar, St. Louis, MO; sister, Barbara Crawford, Wichita, KS; brother, Marshall Willey, Wichita, KS. 3 grandchildren also survive.
A Memorial Service will be held on May 21st, 2011 at 2 PM in Room A at the Georgia Mountain Center in Gainesville, GA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Red Cross.
