Lynn Turpin Nichols

Funeral services for Lynn Turpin Nichols, age 57, of Mt. Airy will be held on Friday, March 25, 2011, at 2:00 PM from the Hillside Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 24, 2011 from 2-4 PM and 6-9 PM.

Lynn passed away March 21, 2011.

Born in Atlanta, Georgia on September 30, 1953, Lynn was the daughter of Ruth Waddell Stallings and the late Bobby Kent Stallings. Lynn was an Emergency Room Nurse at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville and she also taught various classes associated with EMT and medical training at Lanier Technical College. She was of the Christian faith and attended Level Grove Baptist Church in Cornelia. Lynn was a member of Emergency Medical Services for Children (EMSC) and she was a loving daughter and mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Survivors include her mother Ruth Waddell Stallings of Clarkesville, daughter Melissa Dawn Brooks of Clarkesville, daughter and son in law Amy Turpin and Matthew Wright of Mt. Airy, brothers and sisters in law William K. and Barbara Stallings of Burlington, Kentucky and Jerry and Judy Stallings of Clarkesville, sister Leigh Stallings-Jarrell of Clarkesville, grandchildren Chase and Ella Wright and Madelyn LaCount, as well as a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
