Charles Hugh Shedd

Charles Hugh Shedd, 72, of Gainesville, GA passed away Saturday March 19, 2011 at The Oaks of Scenic View in Baldwin GA following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held Monday March 21, 2011 at Riggs Funeral Home in Savannah GA at 11:00am with the Rev. Larry McDaniel, Rev. Hugo Hammond, and Rev. John Rayburn officiating.

Mr. Shedd was born April 17, 1934 in Irvinville GA to the late John and Ruth Shedd. He was a business and an owner of 9 convenient stores and a trucking company in the coastal Savannah area. He was a member The River Church in Murrayville GA. Mr. Shedd is preceded in death by his 1st wife Massell Richardson Shedd.

He is survived by his wife Flossie M. Shedd of Gainesville, daughter and son-in-law Tommy and Gail Mileski of Springfield GA, daughter and son-in-law Dave and Sharron Wilson of Springfield GA, daughter Shelia Tyson of Springfield GA, daughter and son-in-law Scott and Joy Davenport of Seattle WA, sons and daughters
