Thelma Irene Glenn

Mrs. Thelma Irene Glenn, age 94 of Commerce, GA died Sunday, March 13, 2011 at BJC Nursing Home. Mrs. Glenn was born in Danielsville to the late, Dock Harrison and Hattie Hudson Dale. Mrs. Glenn retired from Harmony Grove Mill and was a member at Madison Street Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Glenn was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E. Glenn and son, Dale Glenn.

Mrs. Glenn is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lynda and Buster Wright of Pendergrass; daughter-in-law, Nancy Dale of Commerce; brothers, Aubry Lee Dale of Lilburn, Albert Dale of Charlotte, NC, and Gene Dale of Atlanta; sisters, Dot Jowers of Jacksonville, FL, Faye White of Comer, JoAnn Davis of Danielsville, and Peggy Murzynski of Athens; four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Tuesday 3:00 PM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. David Harbin officiating with the interment following in Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday night from 6-8 PM.
