A.P. (Pat) Saunders

A.P. (Pat) Saunders, age 83, of Dawsonville, passed away Friday, March 13, 2011. He is preceded in death by his wife, Judy Saunders.

Survivors include his son, Steve Saunders and wife Estelle; daughter, Jane Byrum and husband DeWayne; brother, Tom Saunders of New Mexico; sisters, Mary Grizzle of Holdenville, Ok., Dona Merrick of Mesquite, Tx.; grandchildren, Shalyn Fechner of Baytown, Tx., Tray Saunders of Humble, Tx., Molly Byrum of Oklahoma City, Ok.; great grandchildren, Morgan Tyson, Ashlyn Fechner, Colton Fechner, Emma Saunders ( on the way); several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at Silver City Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Biddy officiating. Interment will follow at Silver City Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until hour of service.
