Tony E. Blalock

Mr. Tony E. Blalock, age 64 of Nicholson, GA died Friday, March 11, 2011 at his residence. Mr. Blalock was born in Commerce, to the late, Willard and Yvonne Wood Blalock. Mr. Blalock retired from the U.S. Forestry; he was a member and Deacon of Berea Baptist Church, and U.S. Army Veteran.
Mr. Blalock is survived by his wife, Elaine Stephenson Blalock of Nicholson; sons, Steve Blalock of Nicholson, Andy Blalock of Mint Hill, NC, and Rich Blalock of Pendergrass; brothers, Buzzie Blalock of Colbert and Don Blalock of Commerce; sisters, Ann Weldon of Commerce, Joy Williams of Commerce, Emily Booth of Nicholson, and Elaine Lou Hambrick of Nicholson; seven grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Monday 3:00 PM from the Berea Baptist Church with the Rev. Grady Jordan, Rev. Verlin Reece, and Rev. Terry James officiating with the interment following in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
