Richard Leon Matthews, age 84 of Gainesville, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at his residence following a sudden illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, March 11, 2011 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
