Paul Wilson

Mr. Paul Wilson, age 90, of Lula, GA died Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at BJC Nursing Home.

Mr. Wilson was born in Banks County, GA to the late, Johnny and Lizzie Roberts Wilson. Mr. Wilson was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and served as a deacon. He was a retired poultry farmer. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his wife, Imogene Baugh Wilson.

Mr. Wilson is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Pauline (Raymond) Parks of Maysville, Mary Helen (Gene) Sims of Gillsville, and Barbara (Allen) Wofford of Jefferson; eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Friday, March 11 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with Rev. Ralph Smith and Rev. James Duncan officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The body will be place in state in the church at 1:30 PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday night from 4 to 8 PM.
