Jerry Curtis Pierce

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Jerry Curtis Pierce, age
65, of Jefferson, formerly of Homer, who passed away on Monday, March
7, 2011, after a sudden illness. Mr. Pierce was born in Hall County, a
son to the late William Arthur Pierce and the late Christine Kylte
Pierce. Mr. Pierce was retired from Textile Industry, where worked the
Guilford Mills for a number of years, and was a member of the Double
Springs Baptist Church. His brother, Calvin Pierce, preceded him in
death.

Survivors include his wife, Thelma Pierce, Jefferson, daughter, Emily
Amanda Szijarto, Ball Ground, GA, brothers, Jackie Pierce and Joey
Pierce, both of Gainesville. Grandchildren, Dylan Pierce and Briseis
Szijarto.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at 11:00am
in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. Royce Winters
officiating. The Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 6-8pm
at the funeral home. The body will be cremated after the service.
