Dwight Pierce Nelms, Sr.

Mr. Dwight Pierce Nelms, Sr., age 69 of Nicholson, GA died Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Nelms was born in Jackson County to the late, Jessie and Gladys Moon Wilson. Mr. Nelms was a security guard.

Mr. Nelms is survived by his wife, Sara Ann Farmer Nelms of Nicholson; daughters, Rhonda Booth of Nicholson, Pam Hendrix of Nicholson, and Michelle Roberts of Monroe; sons, Pierce Nelms, Jr of Jefferson and Tony Nelms of Hull; sisters, Betty Hanley of Hull, Sara Raulerson of Augusta, and Linda Wilson of Gainesville; seven grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Friday, 2:00 PM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Stowers officiating with the interment following in Antioch United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday night from 6-8 PM.
