Mr. Coy Rogers Cape, 70 of Flowery Branch, Georgia passed away on February 10, 2011 at his home following an extended illness.
Born in Banks County, GA on September 21, 1940, he was the son of the late, Gordon and Mae Cape. He was a graduate of Banks County High School. After graduation, he had a short stint in professional baseball in the minor league system as a pitcher. He went on to have a lifelong career with the Georgia Power Company. Coy used his knowledge and talents in pitching to mentor several young athletes in their baseball careers. Coy also had a passion for raising cattle and other outdoor activities. He was a member of the Lula Masonic Lodge # 352.
