Lillian Jessie Cheek Craig

Lillian Jessie Cheek Craig of Buford died Thursday, February 10, 2011, at the age of 92, after an extended illness. She was born in Buford, Georgia, January 19, 1919. She was predeceased by her parents, Jesse Anderson Cheek and Adell Effie Hayes Cheek, along with the following brothers and sisters: Grady Cheek, Lester Cheek, Belle Cheek Malcolm, Clifford Cheek, Sam Cheek, Ernest Cheek, Winford Cheek, Bonnie Cheek, and Burma Cheek Buice. She is survived by her sister, Mattie Cheek Kilgore, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Sunday, February 13, at 2:00pm at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel, preceded by visitation from 12:00 Noon until 2:00pm. Interment will follow at the cemetery of Zion Hill Baptist Church, where she was a member her entire adult life.
