Lula Mae "Julie" Williams Barron

Funeral services for Lula Mae "Julie" Williams Barron, age 86 of Cornelia will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 from the Hillside Memorial Chapel. Rev. Furman Lewis, Rev. Dennis Duck, Russ Barker, and Rev. Tommy Stowe will officiate with interment to follow in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Barron passed away Saturday, February 5, 2011 following a period of declining health.

Born August 9, 1924 in Tallulah Falls, Mrs. Barron was the daughter of the late Robert S. and Lula Jordan Williams.. Mrs. Barron was a Paraprofessional with the Habersham Board of Education for 20 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cornelia. In addition to her parents Mrs. Barron is preceded in death by her husband Benny J. "B.J." Barron

Survivors include daughter and son in law Brenda and Terry Blackburn of Alto, sons and daughters in law Bobby and Kay Barron of Clarkesville and Rick and Kay Barron of Demorest, grandchildren and spouses Rob and Candace Blackburn, Casey and Michelle Barron, Corey and Brittney Barron, Donna and Tony Galloway, grandchildren Kyle Barron and Katie Barron, and great grandchildren Hannah, Sadie, Dakota, Seth, Grant, Caleb, Gabe, Ansley, and Lily.
