Gloria Ann Jones

Graveside services for Gloria Ann Jones, age 72, of Clarkesville will be held at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 from the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Shane Jenkins officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday morning before the service from 10 AM until 11 AM.

Ms. Jones passed away Saturday, February 5, 2011.

Born April 5, 1938 in Habersham County, Mrs. Jones was the daughter of the late Lee and Myrtice Burton Jones. After high school, Mrs. Jones attended and graduated from Truett McConnell College in Cleveland. She was a retired Church Secretary at Cross Keys Baptist Church in Macon, Georgia where she was also a member.

Survivors include nieces Barbara Jones of Pendergrass, LeAnne Robb of Suwannee, and Pam Speed of Cornelia, and nephews Michael Jones of Douglasville, Ray Brotherton and Stan Brotherton of Clarkesville, and Leon Brotherton of Clayton.
