George Rollin Lunsford

George Rollin Lunsford, 61, formerly of Clayton, passed away February 4, 2011.

Rollin was born in Rabun County the son of the J.R. Lunsford and the late Sarrah Christine Deason.

Rollin was preceded in death by his mother and a daughter Kimberly Lunsford.

He is survived by one daughter Monique Lunsford Weber and son-in-law Dr. Richard Weber of Gainesville, Georgia; his father J.R. Lunsford of Clayton; and two Grandson Skyler Weber of Gainesville, Georgia, Jared Weber of Tucker, Georgia; one sister Lynn Henderson of Waycross, Georgia; two half brothers Tommy Deason of Huntersville, North Carolina; Perry Lunsford of Clayton, Georgia; several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends at Beck Funeral Home from 6 until 8 PM Sunday February 6, 2011.

Funeral Services will be held at the Persimmon Church of God Monday February 7, 2011 at 2:00 Pm. Services will be conducted by Doyle Parker and burial will follow in the Persimmon Community Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Persimmon Church of God in his memory.

The family will be at their home on Coleman River.
