Elmo Waller

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Charles Elmo Waller, age
94 of Jefferson Ga., who passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2011. Mr.
Waller was born in Thomaston, Georgia. He was the son to the late
Neugent Waller and Nellie Belle Gilbert Waller. Mr. Waller was
retired from Jackson EMC, a member of the First Baptist Church of
Jefferson where he served as a Deacon, Choir member and a former
teacher of the Barracus Sunday school class, he was a member of the
Jefferson Rotary club and enjoyed working in his garden.

Surviving are his wife Nell McCard Waller of Jefferson, sons Mike
(Gail) Waller of Covington Georgia, Tim (LuAnn) Waller of Sandy
Springs Georgia, sister Frances Young of Smyrna, 2 grandchildren, 12
great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held February 2, 2011 at 11:00 am from the
First Baptist Church of Jefferson with the Rev. Bill Carpenter and Dr.
Michael Helms officiating with burial to follow in Jackson Memorial
Park.

Visitation will be February 2, 2011 from 9:00 am to service time at
the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the First
Baptist Church Building Fund, or the Food Bank of the First Baptist
Church of Jefferson, P.O. Box 395 Jefferson, Georgia 30549.
