Ruby Estelle Kanady Sayne

Ruby Estelle Kanady Sayne, 89, passed away Friday, January 28, 2011 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. She had been in declining health for several years.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 30, 2011, 3:00 pm at the Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel with burial to follow in Wahoo Baptist Church Cemetery. The Reverend Charles Buice and Reverend Dean Bryant will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Saturday, January 29, 2011 at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward J. Kanady, second husband, William Ray Sayne, parents, George and Clara Gilstrap; sister, Carrina and Claude Clark, Betty and Major Clark, Robbie Lee and Ross Beasley; brother, Dewitt Gilstrap. Sisters-in-law, Mary Gilstrap and Ruth Kanady. Brothers-in-law, Marvin Kanady, Jack and Evelyn Kanady, Claude and Vernice Kanady, Roy and Ann Sayne, Eual and Gertie Sayne and Hoyt Sayne.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Ronny Boleman; son, Edward Kanady; sisters, Sara Henson, all of Gainesville; Frances and J.C. Couch, Murrayville; brother, Jack Gilstrap, Gainesville; sister-in-law, Guenia Kanady, Wilma and Floyd Haynes, Bobbie Gilstrap, all of Gainesville; Mary Anderson of Murrayville and Ruth Sayne of Marietta. Grandchildren, Sheila and William Maginnis of Gainesville; Sherrie and Justin Anderson of Waco, Texas. Great-grandchildren, Donovan, Austin, and Blake Hyde, Gainesville, GA; Allie and Leah Anderson, Waco, Texas, and many other family and friends.
