Janie Marie Huff

Ivie Funeral Home, Madison County Chapel, Danielsville, announces services for Janie Marie Huff, 66, of Colbert who died on Friday at the Athens Regional Hospital. Born in Athens, she was the daughter of the late Troy and Cora Jane Alewine Huff and was married to Sam Huff of the residence. Survivors, along with her husband, include her sons, Keith Huff of Hull and Clay Huff of Royston; brother, Dennis Cowart of Hull; sister, Carolyn Dutton of Carnesville; 6 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 2 PM from the Word of Life Congregational Holiness Church in Colbert with Revs. Herman Nation and Clay Huff officiating. Interment will follow in the Colbert City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home located at 42 Booger Hill Rd. in Danielsville on Sunday evening from 6-9 PM and at other times at the home of Asa Huff located at 609 Jack Sharp Rd. in Colbert. The body will lie in state at the church of Monday from 11 AM until the time of service.
