Judy Arlene Shaw Pethel

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Judy Arlene Shaw Pethel, age 63, of Talmo Ga., who passed away on Friday, January 21, 2011.

Mrs. Pethel was born on July 26, 1947 in Jackson County. Mrs. Pethel was the daughter of the late Jimmy Shaw and Lounette Hayes Shaw.

Mrs. Pethel is retired from the Jackson County School System as a Para Pro. She was a member of Talmo Baptist Church.

In addition to parents she is preceded in death by her brother Darrell Shaw.

Survivors include her husband of 41 Years Jim Pethel, Daughters Anita (Chris) McGee of Blairsville Ga., Christie (Chad) Robbins of St.
Simons, sister Shirley Greeson of Alto, grandchild Tanner McGee and several Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Services, Monday January 24, 2011 2:00 pm at Talmo Baptist Church with the Rev. Mark Spence and Rev. Charles Jenkins officiating.

Burial will follow at the Talmo Baptist church cemetery.

Visitation Sunday January 23, 2011 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers memorial be made to the Talmo Baptist Church building fund.
