Maudell Burnett

Funeral services will be held Monday January 24, 2011 in New Haven Congregational Holiness Church for Maudell Burnett, 80, of Gainesville.

Rev. Wayne Hicks and Rev. Larry Lynn will officiate. Burial will be in Springway Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 7pm-9pm Saturday and Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs Burnette passed away Friday January 21, 2011.
Mrs. Burnette was born in Jackson County and lived most of her life in Hall County. She was a daughter of George D. & Cordelia Grindle. She retired from Mulberry Farms and was a member of New Haven Congregational Holiness Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin W. Burnette , sons Tommy E. Burnette, Tony Burnette and James Larry Burnette, Brothers Ernest Lee Grindle, David R. Grindle, Winfred D.L. Grindle, and James M. Grindle.

Survivors include Sons & Daughters-in-law Marvin E. & Angela Burnette, Willard D. & Michelle Burnette, Timothy P. & Missy Burnette, all of Gainesville. Daughter Stella Louise Burnette of Gainesville, Daughters & Sons-in-law Deborah & Dennis Kennedy of Mt. Airy, Ga., Barbara & Drayton Jennings of Commerce , Beverly & Jimmy Ward, of Gainesville, Sister Lizzett Aikens, Brother Billy Flynn , 18 Grandchildren, 23 Graet Grandchildren, 5 Great Great Grandchildren.
