Virginia Ruth Burrell

Funeral services for Virginia Ruth Burrell, 84, of Parkland, Fla., and Clarkesville, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 23, 2011, from the Hillside Memorial Chapel. Rev. Brion Williams will officiate with interment to follow the service in Oakey Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Burrell passed away Sunday, January 9, 2011 in Coral Springs, Florida.
She was born Sept. 22, 1926, in Douglasville, Georgia to the late Glenn Florence and Mattie Lou Dailey. Mrs. Burrell was a true Southern lady. She was a homemaker and a member of Oakey Mountain Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband Richard Estes Burrell of Parkland, Florida, daughters Vickie Burrell of Coral Springs, Florida and Charlotte Howell of Orlando, Florida, sons Richard E. Burrell, Jr. of Atlanta and Scott Burrell and Paul Burrell of Coral Springs, Florida, 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, as well as three sisters and a brother.

Visitation will be held at Hillside Memorial Chapel from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, January 22, 2011.
