Elizabeth J. Johnson

Elizabeth J. Johnson, age 92, of Lawrenceville, GA, passed away on Friday, January 14, 2011. A memorial service will be held at 2PM on Saturday, January 22, 2011, at Central United Methodist Church in Asheville, NC. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations be made to Central United Methodist Church, 27 Church Street, Asheville, NC 28801, or to the American Red Cross at www.redcross.org.
Elizabeth is preceded in death by her husband, Frank M. Johnson. She is survived by Daughters and Sons In-Law, Barbara & Rodney Wilson, and Halliday & Timothy Norman, all of Lawrenceville; Sons and Daughters In-Law, David & Melissa Johnson, and Daniel & Roksanda Johnson, all of TX; Grandchildren, Kristina Wilson, FL, Brad Wilson, DC, Benjamin Norman, GA, Annelise Norman, GA, Filip & Mary Johnson, Caroline & Joel Laprade, Morgan & Kate Johnson, and Forrest & Kessica Johnson, all of TX; 4 Great Grandchildren.
Elizabeth was born in Ventor City, NJ on June 9, 1918. She had lived most of her life in Asheville, NC, where she retired as an Executive Assistant for the YWCA. She moved to the Metro Atlanta area and has lived in Lawrenceville for the past 5 years. She was a devoted member of Central United Methodist Church, and enjoyed working with many different organizations. Elizabeth was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, and will be truly missed.
