William James "Ross" Ferguson

William James "Ross" Ferguson passed away peacefully on January 10, 2011, after a long battle with Hepatitis C.

He faced his battle with strength and courage, offering reassuring smiles and hugs to all of his loved ones, loving the many friends and family gatherings right up until his last week. He is survived by Karen, his wife of 22 years. Two step-daughters, Tonya Ringle and husband Michael, Denita Douberly and husband Randy, 7 grandchildren, two sisters, Joy Ferguson and Holly Ferguson Burch, brother, Andy Ferguson and wife Lori, many nieces and nephews also survive.

Ross was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Tannis Ferguson, He was born in Winnipeg Manitoba, Canada and a current resident of Gainesville, Ga. Loved to travel and did so quite extensively with Karen, first as long haul truck drivers, then in an RV after health issues forced him to retire. He had a big heart and a sense of humor that made him friends wherever he went, making people laugh was one of his greatest joys in life.
