Sid Carter

Sid Carter, age 78 of Snellville, GA passed away January 12, 2011. He is survived by his wife, Juanita Carter of Snellville; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Geoff Elliott; grandson, Bradley Carter Elliott; sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Wayne Dobbs all of Lilburn, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Barbara Carter. Mr. Carter attended GA Tech and was retired from Dresser Industries as a sales engineer and was an Air Force Veteran. He was a longtime member of Sunrise Baptist Church where he was very active and loved by many. Sid was an avid golfer and a GA Tech fan. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 17 at 11am at Sunrise Baptist Church with Dr. David Poe officiating. Interment will be held at Arlington Cemetery.
