Eric Shawn Lightsey

Eric Shawn Lightsey, 48, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, passed away January 10, 2011 at Gwinnett Medical Center in Duluth, GA.

Eric was born on September 8, 1962 in Fulton County, GA to Lowell France Lightsey and Sue Nell Justus Lightsey. He was the grandson of the late Noel Justus and Louellen Justus Prince; and Hiram Lightsey and Rena Bowles Lightsey.

He was also preceded in death by his brother, Anthany Lowell Lightsey.

Eric was a maintenance technician at Sioux Acres Park and liked to read, write, and study many subjects. He was very fond of the outdoors. He attended the Lawrenceville Church of God.

The family will receive friends at Beck Funeral Home on Sunday, January 16, 2011 from 1 PM to 2 PM. Funeral services will be held in the Beck Funeral Home Chapel at 2 PM following visitation with Rev. Tim Pemper officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery.
