Clayton Reece

Clayton Reece, 78, of Dawsonville passed away Saturday January 8, 2011 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a period of declining health.

Born March 13, 1932 to the late Joe Brown and Onnie Reece, he was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. Mr. Reece was of the Baptist faith and was a U. S. Air Force veteran. He was also preceded in death by sons, Don Reece, Doug Reece, Ronnie Jennings, and grandson, Clay Reece.

Surviving are his wife, Estelle Reece, Dawsonville; children, Ricky and Gail Jennings, Dawsonville, Tina Goldsmith, Dawsonville, Joe C. Reece, Dawsonville; daughter in law, Angela Reece, Dawsonville; sister, Opal "Dolly" Hansard, Dawsonville; brothers and sisters in law, Ford and Mary Reece, Gainesville, Woody and Jeannette Reece, Dawsonville; six grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

Memorial services will be held Sunday January 16, 2011 at 7 p.m. at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Sven Mossinger will officiate.

The family will receive friends beginning at 6 p.m. until the service hour.
