Vera Mae Lee Barrett

Vera Mae Lee Barrett, age 74 of Dawsonville passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2011. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Rayford and Agnes Bagwell; brothers, Horace and George Bagwell; sisters, Dersie Harmon and Lois Hood.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Barrett of Dawsonville; daughters, Gerald and Peggy Swanson, Radford and JoAnn Brownlee, Dorsey and Denna Cole all of Dawsonville; son, Jerry and Tina Barrett of Dawsonville; brothers, Rayford Bagwell, Raymond Bagwell; sisters, Vena Burnett, Hazel Bagwell, Shirley Helton; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Haw Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Thursday from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Friday from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am until hour of service.
