Lorraine Holden

Lorraine Irene Blaha Holden, 83, of Gainesville passed away Friday January 7, 2011 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.



Private memorial services will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends Sunday January 9, 2010 from 5pm-7pm at the funeral home.



Ms. Holden was born September 25, 1927 to the late Joseph and Freda Schmidt Blaha. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her husband Eugene Orcutt Holden, son Eric Holden, and great grandson Ethan James Holden



Ms. Holden is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Mark & Kay Holden of Cornelia, son and daughter-in-law Grant & Jo Holden of Gainesville, daughter and son-in-law Gail & David Sutton of Gainesville, daughter and son-in-law Judy & Norman Hamilton of Dahlonega, daughter and companion Linda Woods & Bob Barela of Cleveland, son Kurt Holden of Gainesville, 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, brother and sister-in-law Joseph & Jennie Blaha Jr. of New York. The family would like to extend a special thanks for the great care from the Northeast Georgia Medical Center Ronnie Green Heart Center.
