Linda Taylor

Linda Taylor, 56, of Cumming passed away Friday January 7, 2011 at Northside Forsyth Hospital following an extended illness.

Born April 4, 1954 in Dawson County, she lived a number of years in Forsyth County. Mrs. Taylor was employed as a manager with Publix. Linda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her father, Hoyt Martin, and brother, L. W. Martin.

Surviving are her husband of 23 years, Jack Taylor, Cumming; children, Stacey and Crystal Picklesimer, Dawsonville, Brian and Stacey Picklesimer, Dahlonega, Christy and Michael Painter, Marble Hill; mother, Fannie Lou Martin, Dawsonville; sisters, Betty Reeves, Gainesville, Judy Dills, Dawsonville, Lorrie Ann Picklesimer, Dawsonville; brothers, Wayne Martin, Gainesville, Lane Martin, Gainesville, Egbert Martin, Gainesville; grandchildren, Justin Picklesimer, Amber Picklesimer, Ashley Picklesimer, Heather Sosebee, Matthew Picklesimer, Travis Painter, Courtney Painter; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Sunday January 9, 2011 at 4 o'clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Tim Biddy will officiate. Interment will follow in Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 1 until 9 at the funeral home.
