Nona Lee Dodd

Mrs. Nona Lee Dodd, age 91, of Commerce, GA died Thursday, January 6, 2011 at BJC Nursing Home. Mrs. Dodd was born in Commerce to the late, Young and Gertrude Burroughs Hawks. Mrs. Dodd retired from Blue Bell and was a member of Galilee Christian Church. Mrs. Dodd was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Dorsey Dodd.

Mrs. Dodd is survived by her sons; Jimmy Dodd of Commerce, GA and Mickey Dodd of Danielsville, GA, grandchildren; Perry and Lamar Dodd of Commerce, GA, Marty Elrod of Commerce, GA, Pam Dodd of Hull, GA, and Kelly Moore of Nicholson, GA, twelve great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Sunday 2:00 PM from the Galilee Christian Church with Mr. Tom Plank officiating with the interment following at Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday night from 6-8 PM.
